1. Urges Member States, relevant subregional and regional organizations, the United Nations and specialized agencies to promote equal opportunities for the representation of women in all decision-making processes with regard to matters related to disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control, in particular as it relates to the prevention and reduction of armed violence and armed conflict;

Urges Member States, relevant subregional and regional organizations, the United Nations and the specialized agencies to promote equal opportunities for the representation of women in all decision-making processes with regard to matters related to disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control, in particular as it relates to the prevention and reduction of armed violence and armed conflict;

Urges all countries, the United Nations system, including the regional commissions, relevant subregional and regional organizations and all other relevant actors to take actions and measures for the full and effective implementation of the provisions of Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee resolution 5/1 on urgent action for Africa;
" ٨ - تحث جميع البلدان ومنظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، بما فيها اللجان اﻹقليمية والمنظمات دون اﻹقليمية واﻹقليمية ذات الصلة وجميع الجهات الفاعلة اﻷخرى ذات الصلة، على اتخاذ تدابير وإجراءات لتنفيذ أحكام القرار ٥/١ الصادر عن لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية بشأن اﻹجراءات العاجلة لصالح أفريقيا تنفيذا كاملا وفعالا؛

" 8. Acknowledges the importance of subregional and regional activities undertaken during preparations for the Conference, affirms the ongoing importance of such commitment to population and development issues and calls upon relevant subregional and regional organizations, within their respective mandates, to play an active role in the implementation of the Programme of Action;
" ٨ - تعترف بأهمية اﻷنشطة دون اﻹقليميـة واﻹقليميـة المضطلـع بهــا أثنــاء اﻷعمــال التحضيرية للمؤتمـر، وتؤكـد اﻷهميـة المستمرة لهذا الالتزام بقضايا السكان والتنميـة، وتطلــب إلـى المنظمات دون اﻹقليمية واﻹقليمية ذات الصلة أن تقوم، داخل نطاق ولاية كل منها، بدور نشط في تنفيذ برنامج العمل؛

Attentiveness to relevant subregional and regional initiatives

The secretariat should prepare templates and reporting guidelines for the relevant subregional and regional organizations to report on SRAP and RAP implementation, consistent with the templates and reporting guidelines for the Parties and any guidance that the COP may wish to give;
(د) ينبغي للأمانة أن تعد نماذج ومبادئ توجيهية للإبلاغ تسترشد بها المنظمات دون الإقليمية والإقليمية المعنية في الإبلاغ عن تنفيذ برنامج العمل دون الإقليمي وبرنامج العمل الإقليمي، تماشيا مع النماذج والمبادئ التوجيهية للإبلاغ التي قد يرغب مؤتمر الأطراف في توجيهها للأطراف؛

The Assembly also invited relevant subregional and regional fisheries management organizations and arrangements as well as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to review, within their respective competencies, the impact of fisheries by-catch and discards on the sustainable use of living marine resources.
ودعت الجمعية العامة أيضا المنظمات والترتيبات دون اﻹقليمية واﻹقليمية ذات الصلة بإدارة مصائد اﻷسماك، وكذلك منظمة اﻷمم المتحدة لﻷغذية والزراعة )الفاو(، الى القيام، كل في مجال اختصاصها، باستعراض أثر المصيد العرضي والمرتجع في مصائد اﻷسماك على الاستغلال المستدام للموارد البحرية الحية.

8. (b) To enhance, as appropriate, synergies between the Programme of Action and relevant subregional and regional instruments in which they participate, including those that are legally binding;
