At the 1st meeting, on 29 January, the Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF, Kul Gautam, made a presentation to the Committee on the update of the reviews and appraisals of preliminary results of the implementation of the World Declaration on the Survival, Protection and Development of Children and the Plan of Action for Implementing the Declaration in the 1990s.
