The Committee urges the State party to take all the appropriate measures for the physical and psychological recovery and social reintegration of child victims of offences under the Optional Protocol. In particular, the Committee urges the State party to:

The Committee strongly urged Nigeria, inter alia, to take all the appropriate measures to immediately stop the ethnic violence, to protect the victims and to avoid the repetition of such killings in the future, in compliance with its obligations under the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
