The first meeting was the Expert Meeting on Building Productive Capacities, which took place from 4 to 6 September 2006, and the second was the Expert Meeting on FDI in Natural Resources, which was held from 20 to 22 November 2006.

The Chairperson of the Expert Meeting on Building Productive Capacities, held from 4 to 6 September 2006, presented the main findings related to the role of enterprises in developing productive capacities.
