أود أن أشير إلى قرار مجلس الأمن 1686 (2006) الذي مدد المجلس بموجبه حتى 15 حزيران/يونيه 2007 ولاية لجنة التحقيق الدولية المستقلة في التفجير الإرهابي الذي وقع في 14 شباط/فبراير 2005، وأن أذكّر بشكل خاص باستعداد مجلس الأمن لمواصلة تقديم المساعدة للبنان في البحث عن الحقيقة ومحاسبة جميع الضالعين في هذا الاعتداء الإرهابي.
