(a) The visits to Myanmar by the Special Envoy of the SecretaryGeneral for Myanmar during the past year and the visits by the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights in Myanmar;

(e) To improve cooperation with the Special Envoy of the SecretaryGeneral on Myanmar and the Special Rapporteur in order to bring Myanmar towards a transition to civilian rule, and to ensure that they are both granted full and free access to Myanmar and that all persons cooperating with the Special Envoy and Special Rapporteur are not subjected to any form of intimidation, harassment or punishment;
(ه) أن تعمل على تحسين التعاون مع المبعوث الخاص للأمين العام ومع المقرر الخاص بغية الانتقال بميانمار إلى حكم مدني، وأن تكفل لهما الإمكانية الكاملة للدخول إلى ميانمار بكل حرية، وأن لا يُعرّض كل من يتعاون مع المبعوث الخاص والمقرر الخاص لأي شكل من الترهيب أو المضايقة أو المعاقبة؛

The Council expresses its gratitude to the Chairperson of the Implementation Panel, President Thabo Mbeki, and the Special Envoy of the SecretaryGeneral for the Sudan and South Sudan, Mr. Haile Menkerios, for their briefings of 9 August 2012 and for their tireless efforts to broker agreements between the two parties.
