This fund shall receive contributions pursuant to paragraphs 12 (b) and (c) that have been earmarked to support the participation of representatives of developing countries and countries with economies in transition in meetings of the Conference of the Parties and its subsidiary bodies.

20. 15- يحث الجهات المانحة الدولية والثنائية، علاوة على القطاع الخاص والمؤسسات المالية والمؤسسات الخيرية والقادرين من الجهات المانحة الأخرى، على دعم الاستعدادات الوطنية والإقليمية والعالمية لمؤتمر الموئل الثالث من خلال المساهمات الطوعية في الصندوق الاستئماني ودعم مشاركة ممثلي البلدان النامية في اجتماعات اللجنة التحضرية وفي المؤتمر ذاته؛

Urges international and bilateral donors, and also the private sector, financial institutions, foundations and other donors, to support the national, regional and global preparations for the Conference through voluntary contributions to the trust fund and to support the participation of representatives of developing countries to meetings of the Preparatory Committee and to the Conference itself;

(g) Urged international and bilateral donors, and also the private sector, financial institutions, foundations and other donors, to support the national, regional and global preparations for the conference through voluntary contributions to the trust fund and to support the participation of representatives of developing countries to meetings of the Preparatory Committee and to the conference itself.

2. Likewise, in accordance with paragraph 10 of the Financial Rules, a special fund to support the participation of representatives of eligible States Parties affected by desertification and/or drought in the sessions of the Conference of the Parties and its subsidiary bodies (the Special Fund) was established by the Secretary-General of the United Nations and is managed by the Executive Secretary of the UNCCD.
2- وبالمثل قام الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، عملاً بالفقرة 10 من القواعد المالية بإنشاء صندوق خاص يديره الأمين التنفيذي لاتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر من أجل دعم مشاركة ممثلي الدول الأطراف المؤهلة التي تعاني من التصحر و/أو الجفاف في دورات مؤتمر الأطراف وهيئاته الفرعية (الصندوق الخاص).
