However, despite all the progress that has been made and the great importance of the issue under consideration, Chile notes with particular concern that only 34 States have acceded to the International Agreement for the Establishment of the University for Peace, which entered into force on 7 February 1981, and more than half of them are in the Latin American region.

24. The future of the University is strongly tied to the political and financial support reflected not only in greater numbers of Governments acceding to the International Agreement for the Establishment of the University for Peace but also in increasing contributions of financial resources for the normal functioning of the University and the launching of new programmes.

We also note with satisfaction that Slovenia acceded to the International Agreement for the Establishment of the University for Peace on 6 June 1992.
كما نلاحظ مع الارتياح أن سلوفينيا انضمت، في ٦ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٢، الى الاتفاق الدولي ﻹنشاء جامعة السلم.

This means that if a conflict is found between a law and an international agreement that is a part of the Czech legal order, all those who apply the relevant law must give precedence to the International Agreement.
وهذا يعني أنه إذا وُجد تضارب بين قانون وبين اتفاق دولي يعتبر جزءاً من النظام القانوني التشيكي، يجب على كل أولئك الذين يطبقون القانون المختص أن يعطوا أفضلية للاتفاق الدولي.
