At the resumed 9th meeting, on 10 - 11 December, the President recalled that no nominations for Vice-Chair and Rapporteur of the SBSTA had been received at the time of the closing meeting of the SBSTA at its thirty-third session, and that, as an exception to rule 27, paragraph 6, of the draft rules of procedure being applied, the SBSTA had requested the COP to elect the Vice-Chair and Rapporteur of the SBSTA.
