At its 32nd meeting, on 30 November, the Committee had before it a draft resolution entitled " International Strategy for Disaster Reduction " (A/C.2/65/L.58), submitted by the Vice-Chair of the Committee, Csilla Würtz (Hungary), on the basis of informal consultations held on draft resolution A/C.2/65/L.27.

He took it that the Committee was prepared to waive the 24-hour provision under rule 120 of the rules of procedure.
