٣ - يشجع اﻷمين العام على أن يقوم، بالتشاور مع اﻷمين العام لمنظمة الدول اﻷمريكية، بمواصلة جهوده لتيسير عودة البعثة المدنية الدولية إلى هايتي فورا؛

6. Requests that the Secretary-General consult with the Secretary-General of the Organization of American States regarding the consideration of appropriate measures which might be taken by that organization consistent with this resolution and report to the Council on the results of those consultations;
٦ - يطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يتشاور مع اﻷمين العام لمنظمة الدول اﻷمريكية فيما يتعلق بالنظر في التدابير الملائمة التي يمكن أن تتخذها المنظمة المذكورة تمشيا مع هذا القرار، وأن يقدم إلى المجلس تقريرا عن نتائج تلك المشاورات؛

8. Regarding the international Civilian Mission, I intend, in coordination with the Secretary-General of the Organization of American States, to redeploy the core group of observers currently in Santo Domingo as soon as their security is ensured.
٨ - وفيما يتعلق بالبعثة المدنية الدولية، فإنني أعتزم، بالتشاور مع اﻷمين العام لمنظمة الدول اﻷمريكية، نقل فريق المراقبين اﻷساسي الموجود حاليا في سانتو دومنغو وذلك بمجرد كفالة اﻷمن لهذا الفريق.
