1. At any time after [[three] [one] year[s] from the date on which] this Convention has entered into force for a Party, that Party may withdraw from the Convention by giving written notification to the Depositary.
1 - يجوز لأي طرف أن ينسحب من الاتفاقية في أي وقت بعد [مضي [ثلاث سنوات] [سنة واحدة] من تاريخ بدء] نفاذ الاتفاقية بالنسبة لذلك الطرف، وذلك بتوجيه إخطار خطي إلى الوديع.

53- يؤكد المؤتمر مجدداً أن الاتفاقية ذات أمد غير محدود وأنها تنطبق في جميع الأوقات، ويعرب عن ارتياحه لعدم ممارسة أي دولة طرف حقها في الانسحاب من الاتفاقية.

11. We strongly urge Canada to reconsider its decision to withdraw from the Convention and to come back as soon as possible in the interest of sustainable world.
