وخلاصة القول إنه من منظور المستوطنات البشرية، لن يحقق تنفيذ قرار الجمعية العامة 67/4 نتائجه الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والبيئية على صعيد تخطيط المستوطنات البشرية وإدارتها إجمالا فحسب، بل وسيكفل تحسينات كبيرة في أحوال المستوطنات البشرية للفئات الفقيرة والمحرومة من السكان الكوبيين.

In essence, from the human settlements perspective, the implementation of resolution 66/6 will not only improve the quality of social, economic and environmental human settlements planning and management in general, but will also, in particular, promote important improvements in the human settlements conditions of the poor and disadvantaged segments of the Cuban population.
وخلاصة القول إنه من منظور المستوطنات البشرية، لن يحقق تنفيذ قرار الجمعية العامة 66/6 نتائجه الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والبيئية على صعيد تخطيط المستوطنات البشرية وإدارتها إجمالا فحسب، بل وسيعزز التحسينات الكبيرة المدخلة على أحوال المستوطنات البشرية للفئات الفقيرة والمحرومة من السكان.

In its chapter III, report A/56/618 analysed also the role and function of the United Nations Centre for Human Settlements and confirmed that, since its creation, the Centre's role had been steadily expanding in assisting member States in improving human settlements conditions through an integrated programme covering research, policy advice, training and technical cooperation.

(b) The private sector has become a major actor and contributor to the Habitat II preparatory process. Since PrepCom 2, a series of consultations on financing human settlements has been organized, often with private sector partners, focusing on private sector investments in improving human settlements conditions in all regions.
