وينبغي لكل هيئة من هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة أن تركز على الولايات التي أسندتها إليها الجمعية العامة.

The Advisory Committee has noted a serious lack of disclosure with regard to the information it deems essential for it to perform the functions assigned to it by the General Assembly.
وقد لاحظت اللجنة الاستشارية تقاعسا خطيرا عن الإفصاح عن المعلومات التي تراها لازمة لأداء المهام التي أسندتها إليها الجمعية العامة.

وفي ضوء ما تقدم، أود أن أطلب منح الإذن مرة أخرى للجنة المعنية بممارسة الشعب الفلسطيني لحقوقه غير القابلة للتصرف كي تعقد، خلال الدورة الثانية والستين الوشيكة للجمعية العامة، ما يلزمها من اجتماعات للاضطلاع بالولاية المهمة التي أسندتها إليها الجمعية العامة.

Obviously, its success is measured by how well it is able to achieve the four goals mandated by the Member States.
ومن الواضح أن نجاح الإدارة يقاس بمدى قدرتها على بلوغ الأهداف الأربعة التي أسندتها إليها الدول الأعضاء.
