As in the past, these project activities are approved by the Executive Director on a case-by-case basis and are targeted to those areas of the approved work programme where the Programme has to respond to requests, organize identification missions and prepare project documents for fund-raising. These activities follow the programme priorities of UN-HABITAT, and tend to concentrate on areas for which it is difficult to attract earmarked funding.
