لذلك تؤمن حركة بلدان عدم الانحياز بأنه ينبغي للدول أن تفكر في تخصيص جزء من مواردها الموفرة من تنفيذ اتفاقات نزع السلاح والحد من الأسلحة لصرفها على التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.

وفي ذلك الصدد، ندعو الدول الأعضاء إلى موافاة الأمين العام بالمعلومات المتعلقة بالتدابير والجهود المبذولة لتخصيص جزء من هذه الموارد التي تم توفيرها بتنفيذ اتفاقات نزع السلاح والحد من الأسلحة للتنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، بهدف تقليص الفجوة المتزايدة بين البلدان المتقدمة النمو والبلدان النامية.

178. The Ministers emphasized the importance of the observance of environmental norms in the preparation and implementation of disarmament and arms limitation agreements, and in this regard, they welcomed the adoption of General Assembly Resolution 68/36 on this matter without a vote.
178- وشدد الوزراء على أهمية مراعاة المعايير البيئية في إعداد اتفاقات نزع السلاح والحد من الأسلحة وتنفيذها، ورحبوا في هذا الصدد، باعتماد الجمعية العامة للقرار 68/36 بشأن هذه المسألة بدون تصويت.
