By decision VII/30, the Conference of the Parties instructed the Committee to review the following general issues in accordance with paragraph 21 of the terms of reference for the compliance mechanism and in accordance with the priorities and budget agreed by the Conference of the Parties:
12 - أوعز مؤتمر الأطراف بموجب المقرر 7/30 إلى اللجنة استعراض القضايا العامة التالية وفقاً للفقرة 21 من الاختصاصات لآلية الامتثال ووفقاً للأولويات والميزانية التي اتفق عليها مؤتمر الأطراف:

The secretariat and the Global Mechanism (GM), according to their respective mandates, are proposed to assist in this exercise and to help to meet deadlines and standards agreed upon by the COP.

It requested that such arrangements should be concluded between the secretariat and the GEF and elaborate on how the GEF should take into consideration policies, strategies and priorities agreed upon by the COP.
