ومن الواضح لكل من يريد أن يقيِّم التطور الفلسطيني تقييما أمينا على الصعيدين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي على مدى العقد الماضي أن الأوضاع المعيشية للشعب الفلسطيني تحسنت باطِّراد في الفترات التي كانت القيادة الفلسطينية قائمة على نحو نشط بمواجهة المنظمات الإرهابية ومشتركة في مفاوضات جدية مع إسرائيل.

Noting with great interest the efforts by the Palestinian National Authority in Gaza Strip and West Bank to improve the living conditions of the Palestinian people and to reconstruct the Palestinian national economy;
وإذ يلاحظ باهتمام بالغ الجهود التي تبذلها السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية في قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية من أجل تحسين الأوضاع المعيشية للشعب الفلسطيني وإعادة ترميم الاقتصاد الوطني الفلسطيني،

Noting with great interest the efforts by the Palestinian National Authority in the Self Rule regions of Gaza Strip and West Bank to improve the living conditions of the Palestinian people and to reconstruct the Palestinian national economy; Having considered the report of the Secretary General on the issue;
وإذ يلاحظ باهتمام شديد الدور الذي تضطلع به السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية في مناطق الحكم الذاتي الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية من أجل تحسين الأوضاع المعيشية للشعب الفلسطيني وإعادة ترميم الاقتصاد الوطني الفلسطيني،

Continued occupation of the Palestinian territory by Israel, the delays in the implementation of the agreements reached between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), and the delay in reaching a final solution intended to settle all outstanding claims between the two parties continue to aggravate the living conditions of the Palestinian people.
ما برحت الأوضاع المعيشية للشعب الفلسطيني تتفاقم بفعل استمرار احتلال إسرائيل للأراضي الفلسطينية والتأخر في تنفيذ الاتفاقات التي توصلت إليها إسرائيل ومنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية والتأخر في التوصل إلى حل نهائي لتسوية جميع المطالبات المعلقة بين الجانبين.

3. The delays in the implementation of the agreements reached between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) continue to aggravate the living conditions of the Palestinian people and to sustain, relentlessly, the current cycle of violence.

23 - أدت المستوطنات الإسرائيلية التي يعتبرها المجتمع الدولي غير شرعية في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة إلى تفاقم الصراع مع ما ينجم عن ذلك من مضاعفات مدمرة على الأوضاع المعيشية للشعب الفلسطيني.

(ب) الوثائق البرلمانية: تقريران يعرضان على المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي عن الإنعاكسات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للاحتلال الإسرائيلي على الأوضاع المعيشية للشعب الفلسطيني في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة بما فيها القدس والسكان العرب في منطقة الجولان السورية المحتلة، 2004- 2005؛

The United Nations system, especially the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the United Nations Development Programme, continued to focus its activities on developing Palestinian infrastructure, enhancing institutional capacity and improving the living conditions of the Palestinian people.
وقد ظلت منظومة الأمم المتحدة، وبخاصة وكالة الأمم المتحدة لإغاثة وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في الشرق الأدنى (الأونروا) وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي، تركز أنشطتها على تنمية البنية الأساسية الفلسطينية وتعزيز قدرات المؤسسات وتحسين الأوضاع المعيشية للشعب الفلسطيني.

Those unlawful and devastating practices had been well documented in various reports, including the report prepared by the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia on the economic and social repercussions of the Israeli occupation on the living conditions of the Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian territory, including Jerusalem, and of the Arab population in the occupied Syrian Golan (A/60/65-E/2005/13, annex).
وأشار إلى أن هذه الممارسات غير المشروعة والمدمرة موثقة جيدا في شتى التقارير، ومن بينها التقرير الذي أعدته اللجنة الاقتصاية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا عن الآثار الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للإحتلال الإسرائيلي على الأوضاع المعيشية للشعب الفلسطيني في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس، والأوضاع المعيشية للسكان العرب في الجولان السوري المحتل (A/60/65-E/2005/13، المرفق).
