واضطُلع بتطوير مهني هام مع معلمين في مدارس الإينو حول تطوير وإنجاز منهاج ذي صلة ثقافية.

The recognition of the Ainu as an indigenous people;

The Committee remains concerned that, in spite of the recognition of Ainu people as indigenous people and other progress achieved, Ainu people remain disadvantaged in the enjoyment of economic, social and cultural rights.
30- تبقى اللجنة قلقة من أنّه بالرغم من الاعتراف بقبيلة الإينو بصفتها من السكان الأصليين والتقدم المحرز على أصعدة أخرى، تبقى هذه القبيلة محرومة من التمتع بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية.

The Committee recommends that the State party step up efforts to improve the standard of living of Ainu people and implement additional special measures, in particular in the field of employment and education.
توصي اللجنة بأن تضاعف الدولة الطرف جهودها لتحسين مستوى عيش قبيلة الإينو وتنفيذ تدابير خاصة إضافية، لا سيما في مجالي التوظيف والتعليم.

The Committee requests the State party to include in its next periodic report information on the results of measures taken to preserve and promote the Ainu language.
وتطلب اللجنة من الدولة الطرف أن تضمّن تقريرها الدوري المقبل معلومات حول نتائج التدابير المتخذة للحفاظ على لغة الإينو النهوض بها.

19. Japan continued its active efforts toward building a rich and cohesive society in which Ainu people could live with a sense of pride.

In response to this, the Government of Japan released a Chief Cabinet Secretary discourse recognizing that the Ainu are indigenous to the northern part of the Japanese Archipelago, especially Hokkaido, and have a unique language as well as religious and cultural distinctiveness.
