44. With regard to the interpretation of the United Nations Financial Regulations and Rules under the United Nations system accounting standards, the Board noted inconsistencies in the application of accounting methods and observed that financial statements and tables differed among the entities, even though those standards prescribe the layout and format.
44 - وفيما يتعلق بتفسير النظام المالي والقواعد المالية للأمم المتحدة في إطار المعايير المحاسبية لمنظومة الأمم المتحدة، لاحظ المجلس حالات عدم اتساق في تطبيق أساليب المحاسبة، ولاحظ أن البيانات والجداول المالية تختلف بين الكيانات رغم أن تلك المعايير تنظم طريقة تخطيطها وشكلها.

The Committee recommends that the streamlining of the United Nations financial statements and the schedules thereto be implemented in time for the Board to audit the revised statements and schedules for the biennium 2004-2005.
وتوصي اللجنة بأن تنفذ عمليــة تبسيط بيــانات الأمم المتحدة المــالية والجداول الملحقــة بهــا في الوقت المطــلوب، كي يتسنى للمجلس مراجعة حسابات البيانات والجداول المنقحة عن فترة السنتين 2000-2005.
