Question (d). Legislation designed to regulate suborbital flights for scientific missions and/or for human transportation could be applied to such flights.

Question (a). Yes, once there is a decision to define the boundary of each area, it will separate suborbital flights for scientific missions and those for human transportation.

Question (a). The Government considers there to be a direct relationship between suborbital flights for scientific missions and/or for human transportation and the definition and delimitation of outer space, bearing in mind that rules must be established concerning the execution of such flights.
السؤال (أ)- ترى الحكومة أنَّ هناك علاقة مباشرة بين التحليقات دون المدارية لأغراض البعثات العلمية و/أو نقل البشر وتعريف الفضاء الخارجي وتعيين حدوده، مع إيلاء الاعتبار لوجوب وضع قواعد فيما يتعلق بالقيام بهذه التحليقات.

It has to be differentiated between suborbital flights which reach a height of about 80-120 km (mainly suborbital flights for human transportation) and suborbital flights such as sounding rockets which are designed to perform scientific experiments at altitudes from 50 to 1,500 km with a range of approximately 100-150 km.
وينبغي التمييز بين التحليقات دون المدارية التي تصل إلى ارتفاع يتراوح بين 80 كيلومتراً و120 كيلومتراً تقريبا (في المقام الأول، التحليقات دون المدارية لأغراض نقل البشر) والتحليقات دون المدارية من قبيل صواريخ السَّبر المصمَّمة للقيام بتجارب علمية على ارتفاعات تتراوح بين 50 كيلومتراً و500 1 كيلومتر بمدى تشغيلي يتراوح بين 100 كيلومتر و150 كيلومتراً تقريبا.
