The United Nations Forum on Forests secretariat initiated the facilitative process immediately after the adoption of the resolution at the special session of the ninth session of the Forum.
وقد بدأت أمانة المنتدى العملية التيسيرية مباشرة بعد اعتماد القرار في الجلسة الاستثنائية المعقودة في إطار الدورة التاسعة للمنتدى.

The decision of the special session of the ninth session of the Forum on forest financing had been taken at a critical time, when the pivotal role of forests in advancing sustainable development agendas and the global efforts to fight climate change were being recognized more than ever before.
علما بأن قرار الجلسة الاستثنائية المعقودة في إطار الدورة التاسعة للمنتدى بخصوص تمويل الغابات قد اتخذ في وقت حرج كان يجري فيه الاعتراف، أكثر من أي وقت مضى، بالدور المحوري للغابات في الدفع قُدما ببرامج التنمية المستدامة والجهود العالمية لمكافحة تغير المناخ.

17. Mr. Ruales explained that the Organization-Led Initiative was organized in response to two invitations by the Forum to the Collaborative Partnership on Forests, in the resolution of the special session of the ninth session of the Forum, and the resolution adopted at the ninth session.
17 - وأوضح السيد رواليس أن تنظيم المبادرة التي تقودها المنظمات جاء استجابة لدعوتين وجههما المنتدى إلى الشراكة التعاونية في مجال الغابات، إحداهما في قرار الجلسة الاستثنائية المعقودة في إطار الدورة التاسعة للمنتدى والأخرى في القرار المتخذ في الدورة التاسعة أيضا.

8. The secretariat of the United Nations Forum on Forests introduced the relevant documents to the session and a compact disc was distributed to all experts, which included all the documents of the Forum relevant to forest financing since the special session of the ninth session.
8 - وعرضت أمانة منتدى الأمم المتحدة المعني بالغابات الوثائق ذات الصلة بالدورة، وعُمم قرصٌ مدمج على جميع الخبراء يضم جميع وثائق المنتدى ذات الصلة بتمويل الغابات التي صدرت منذ الجلسة الاستثنائية المعقودة في إطار الدورة التاسعة.

9. The Expert Group noted that in paragraph 2 of the resolution adopted at the special session of the ninth session, the Forum decided that the Group would meet before the ninth and tenth sessions, submitting a preliminary report to the Forum during its ninth session and final recommendations at its tenth session, for its consideration and decision.
9 - لاحظ فريق الخبراء أن المنتدى قرر، في الفقرة 2 من القرار الذي اتخذه في الجلسة الاستثنائية المعقودة في إطار دورته التاسعة، أن يجتمع الفريق قبل انعقاد الدورتين التاسعة والعاشرة، وأن يقدم تقريرا أوليا إلى المنتدى خلال دورته التاسعة وتوصيات نهائية في دورته العاشرة لكي ينظر ويبتّ فيها.

(d) Taking a meaningful decision on forest financing at the tenth session of the Forum in 2013, as envisaged in the resolution of the special session of the ninth session of the Forum;
(د) اتخاذ قرار هادف بشأن تمويل الغابات في الدورة العاشرة للمنتدى في عام 2013 على النحو المتوخى في القرار الصادر عن الجلسة الاستثنائية المعقودة في إطار الدورة التاسعة للمنتدى؛

27. Reiterates its invitation to the members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests, as reflected in the resolution of the special session of the ninth session of the Forum, to consider holding an organization-led initiative in support of the work of the Forum on forest financing by 1 June 2012;
27 - يعيد تأكيد دعوته إلى أعضاء الشراكة التعاونية في مجال الغابات، حسب ما وردت في القرار المتخذ في الجلسة الاستثنائية المعقودة في إطار الدورة التاسعة للمنتدى، للنظر في تنظيم مبادرة تقودها المنظمات دعما لأعمال المنتدى بشأن تمويل الغابات بحلول 1 حزيران/يونيه 2012؛

65. Owing to their important role, the resolution adopted at the special session of the ninth session of the Forum specifically requested that the decision on forest financing at the tenth session of the Forum should take into account the work of forest-related financing mechanisms and processes.
65 - ونظرا للدور الهام لأنشطة التمويل، طلب القرار الصادر عن الجلسة الاستثنائية المعقودة في إطار الدورة التاسعة للمنتدى، على وجه التحديد، أن يأخذ القرار المتعلق بتوفير تمويل للغابات في الدورة العاشرة للمنتدى في الاعتبار عمل آليات وعمليات التمويل المتصلة بالغابات.

The activities were related to the Forum resolution on forests in a changing environment, adopted at the eighth session; the Forum resolution on means of implementation for sustainable forest management, adopted at the special session of the ninth session; and other aspects of the multi-year programme of work of the Forum for the period 2007-2015.
وتتصل تلك الأنشطة بقرار المنتدى بشأن الغابات في بيئة متغيرة، الذي اعتمد في الدورة الثامنة؛ وقرار المنتدى بشأن وسائل تنفيذ الإدارة المستدامة للغابات، الذي اعتمد في الجلسة الاستثنائية المعقودة في إطار الدورة التاسعة؛ وغير ذلك من جوانب برنامج العمل المتعدد السنوات للمنتدى للفترة 2007-2015.
