128 - فيما مضى، كان الطفل لا يحصل على الجنسية الكورية إلا إذا كان الأب مواطنا كوريا وقت مولد طفله.

As for foreigners with autistic disorders (grades 1-2), mental or intellectual disabilities, or brain lesion disorder (grades 1-3), whose father or mother is a national of the Republic of Korea, the person in question shall be exempted from taking a written test in the naturalization screening process (Article 7 of the Nationality Processing Guideline).
أما بالنسبة للأجانب المصابين بمرض الانطواء على الذات (الدرجتان 1 و2) أو المصابين بإعاقات عقلية أو ذهنية (الدرجات من 1 إلى 3) والمولودين من أب أو أم تحمل الجنسية الكورية، فإنهم يُعفون من الاختبار الكتابي في عملية الفرز للحصول على الجنسية الكورية (المادة 7 من المبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بإجراءات الحصول على الجنسية).

ومواطنو جمهورية كوريا الذين يحملون جنسيتي كل من جمهورية كوريا وبلد أجنبي بحكم الولادة أو عملا بقانون الجنسية ولا يختارون الجنسية الكورية أو لا يتنازلون عن جنسيتهم الأصية (غير الكورية)، لا يعتبرون من مواطني جمهورية كوريا ولا يُعفون من الطرد (المادتان 10 و 12 من قانون الجنسية).

Mr. KANG Jisik (Republic of Korea), responding to a question about the transmission of nationality to children, said that the previous law had been based on a system of patrilineal descent, but that since the revision of the Nationality Act of 13 December 1997, children held Korean nationality at birth if at least one parent was a citizen of the Republic of Korea.
