Access to information is an extremely important aspect of the work of human rights defenders, given that it enables them to collect information about violations, monitor public authorities and issue informed recommendations to Governments and other stakeholders on how the human rights situation can be improved.
51 - يُعدّ الوصول إلى المعلومات أحد الجوانب البالغة الأهمية في عمل المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان نظرا إلى أنه يُمكّنهم من جمع معلومات عن الانتهاكات، ورصد السلطات العامة، وتزويد الحكومات وسائر أصحاب المصلحة بتوصيات مستنيرة عن كيفية تحسين حالة حقوق الإنسان.

Stresses the need for the enhanced participation of all developing countries, in particular the least developed countries, in all Internet Governance Forum meetings, and in this regard invites Member States, as well as other stakeholders, to support the participation of Governments and all other stakeholders from developing countries in the Forum itself, as well as in the preparatory meetings;
