The Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations of the ILO (CEACR) noted that in order to comply fully with the Convention on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples (Convention 169), it was not sufficient for Honduras to establish governmental bodies to liaise with indigenous peoples, but rather to ensure the participation of indigenous peoples in these bodies.
