إن بنغلاديش تؤيد تأييدا قلبيا النداء الوارد في القرارين المتخذين اليوم بتقديم الدعم المالي والمادي لجهود حكومة جنوب افريقيا من أجل التعمير والتنمية.

The resolutions adopted last year will indeed be considered landmarks in our quest for an Assembly with enhanced authority, a greater role to play, and better working methods, both within its Bureau and in the main Committees.

I have the honour to refer to the following resolutions adopted on 20 December 2005, which read as follows:

The Committee also requested the Secretariat to prepare an extensive background paper describing the origins and evolution of the question, and the two positions taken on it, to be submitted to the Committee at its resumed substantive session of 1993.
وطلبت اللجنة أيضا من اﻷمانة العامة أن تعد ورقة معلومات أساسية شاملة تصف أصول المسألة وتطورها، والموقفين المتخذين بشأنها، لتقدم إلى اللجنة في دورتها الموضوعية المستأنفة لعام ١٩٩٣.

In these cases, on the issue of balancing the rights of the author with those of third parties, the author again makes reference to the two actions taken prior to his case where elections were cancelled without considering the rights of those elected.

Draft resolutions A/C.3/56/L.83 and A/C.3/56/L.85 were similar to resolutions adopted at the fifty-fifth session, but had been updated in the light of the Durban Conference.

98. The Committee decided to recommend to the General Assembly that the items proposed for consideration by the Second Committee, taking into account the decisions taken with respect to items 118 and 127, should be allocated to that Committee.
