وأحاطت الجمعية العامة علما مع التقدير بالتقرير في قرارها ٤٩/٢٠٧ المعتمد بدون تصويت في ٢٣ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤، الذي قررت فيه أن تبقي قيد النظر، خلال دورتها الخمسين، حالة حقوق اﻹنسان في أفغانستان في ضوء العناصر اﻹضافية التي تقدمها لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان والمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي.

17. The Commission on Human Rights, in resolution 1998/50, which was adopted without a vote and co-sponsored by 55 States, noted with interest the IASC decision, took note of the Guiding Principles and of the stated intention of the Representative to make use of them in his dialogue with Governments and intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations.

3- وطلبت الجمعية العامة، في القرار 61/102، المعتمد بدون تصويت في 6 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2006، إلى الأمين العام، في جملة أمور، مواصلة تقديم المساعدة اللازمة إلى الحكومات الوديعة للاتفاقية، وتوفير ما قد يلزم من خدمات لتنفيذ مقررات المؤتمرات الاستعراضية وتوصياتها.
