The Secretariat will continue to work with parties to assist them in fulfilling their obligations in relation to the chemicals listed in Annex III.

As noted above, paragraph 2 of Article 10 of the Convention requires each party to transmit to the Secretariat an import response for each chemical listed in Annex III to the Convention.

If the objective of the Convention is to be achieved, parties must have the capacity to provide import responses and notifications of final regulatory action for chemicals listed under the Convention.
ولكي يتحقق الهدف من الاتفاقية، يجب أن تكون لدى الأطراف القدرة على تقديم ردود الاستيراد وإخطارات الإجراءات التنظيمية النهائية بشأن المواد الكيميائية المدرجة في الاتفاقية.

The decision requires that all individuals or entities that are legally responsible for a facility, or that carry out activities involving the chemical substances listed in schedules 1, 2 and 3 of the Convention, as well as facilities that produce the organic substances listed in the Convention, submit the required information, as set out in the Declarations Handbook.

CAS numbers cannot be used as unique identifiers because some forms of the listed chemical have different CAS numbers, and mixtures containing a listed chemical may also have different CAS numbers.
ولا يجوز استخدام أرقام المختصرات الكيميائية وحدها لأغراض التعريف، لأن بعض أشكال المواد الكيميائية المدرجة في القائمة لها أرقام مختلفة في السجل، كما أن الخلائط التي تشتمل على مادة كيميائية مدرجة في القائمة قد يكون لها أيضا أرقام مختلفة في السجل.
