72. The Act established " Family Reconciliation committees " to enable parties to find amicable solutions before a case is taken to court.
72- واستحدث القانون " لجان الوفاق الأسري " لتمكين الأطراف من إيجاد حلول ودية قبل رفع القضية إلى المحكمة.

(iii) To ensure that Family Reconciliation is not privileged over the individual human rights of women victims of domestic violence, and that there is redress and accountability for all acts of violence against women;

وستناقش عما قريب اللجنة القانونية في ديوان التشريع والرأي نظام لجان الوفاق الأسري تمهيدا لإقراره مما يسهم في وضع نصوص قانون الحماية من العنف الأسري موضع التطبيق.

12. The Family Reconciliation Shelters statute has been approved and a Family Reconciliation Shelter has been established to provide refuge for victims of domestic violence. This is in addition to the shelter set up by one of the country's civil society organizations.
11 - تم إقرار نظام دور الوفاق الأسري وتم إنشاء دار الوفاق الأسري المعنية بحالات العنف الأسري وهي توفير الملجأ لمثل هذه الحالات إضافة إلى الملجأ الذي أسسته إحدى منظمات المجتمع المدني.

Mr. Twalbah (Jordan) said that the Sharia Code of Criminal Procedure provided for the establishment of Family Reconciliation offices.

27. The Family Reconciliation Shelter won a United Nations Public Service Award for 2013 in category 5, namely, promoting gender responsive delivery of public services.
27- تجدر الإشارة إلى أن دار الوفاق الأسري قد حصلت على جائزة الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة لعام 2013 الفئة الخامسة والمتمثلة بفئة دعم النوع الاجتماعي في الخدمة العامة.

The Family Protection Department provides a special shelter for battered women, namely, the Family Reconciliation Shelter. Statistical data on the number of women hosted by the shelter during the period from 2010 to 2013 is provided below, in addition to statistical data on the number of cases dealt with by the Department.

39. The founding of the Family Reconciliation Centre in Amman was an experiment that will be adopted by other institutions in the framework of participatory institutional work aimed at combating violence. A similar Centre will be opened in Irbid Governorate early in 2010.
39- وستعمم تجربة تأسيس دار الوفاق الأسري في عمان على مؤسسات أخرى وذلك في إطار العمل المؤسسي ألتشاركي في مجال محاربة العنف، حيث سيتم إنشاء دار في محافظة أربد بداية العام 2010.

It operates in one district of Amman (Maraka South). 81. The Integrated Services Centre/Family Reconciliation Home of the Ministry of Social Development will provide free social advice and psychological and family counselling services as well as rehabilitation support for victims of abuse.
81- أما مركز الخدمات المتكاملة/دار الوفاق الأسري التابعة لوزارة التنمية الاجتماعية فيقدم خدمات الإرشاد الاجتماعي وخدمات الإرشاد النفسي وخدمات الإرشاد الأسري وتأهيل المسيئين، وكل هذه الخدمات السابق ذكرها تقدم مجاناً.

According to article 7 of the Act, " preference shall be given to referrals to Family Reconciliation committees prior to taking any of the protective measure stipulated in this Act, providing that the family's best interest is taken into consideration " .
ووفقاً للمادة 7 من القانون، " تُعطى أفضلية التحويل إلى لجان الوفاق الأسري وذلك قبل اتخاذ أي من تدابير الحماية المنصوص عليها في هذا القانون، على أن تراعى في ذلك مصلحة الأسرة الفضلى " ().

74. Despite positive provisions in this legislation, obstacles still remain with regard to the definition of violence, which is limited to violence occurring within the family; the explicit focus on Family Reconciliation as a preferred solution; and the low levels of implementation of this Act by the courts since it was enacted.
74- وعلى الرغم من وجود أحكام إيجابية في هذا التشريع، لا تزال هناك عوائق تتعلق بتعريف العنف الذي يقتصر على العنف داخل الأسرة، والتركيز الواضح على الوفاق الأسري باعتباره الحل المفضل؛ وقلة حالات تنفيذ المحاكم لهذا القانون منذ صدوره.

The directorate has also contributed with other partners in the establishment of the Domestic Justice Center which provides comprehensive services to battered women with the Domestic Reconciliation House as its office.
كما ساهمت الإدارة مع المؤسسات الشريكة في تأسيس " مركز العدل الأسري " الذي يقدم خدمات شمولية للنساء المعنفات والذي اتخذ دار الوفاق الأسري مقراً له.
