The statutes and a work plan of the Council will be presented to the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee at its thirty-eighth session, in February 2001.
وسوف يُقدم النظام الأساسي للمجلس وخطة عمله الى اللجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية أثناء دورتها الثامنة والثلاثين في شباط/فبراير 2001.

2. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Committee, in a note verbale dated 26 July 2000, the Secretary-General requested Governments to submit any information on the above questions by 31 October 2000 so that it could be submitted to the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee at its next session.

However, following a referral to the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee, it was felt that, considering the state of technology at that time, a marking system on objects was not practical.

The Committee noted with satisfaction that the seventeenth Inter-Agency Meeting on Outer Space Activities had been held at Vienna from 7 to 9 February 1996 (A/AC.105/630) and that a report on the coordination of outer space activities within the United Nations system had been submitted to the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee (A/AC.105/631).
ولاحظت اللجنة بارتياح أن الاجتماع السابع عشر المشترك بين الوكالات بشأن أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي، قد عقد في فيينا في الفترة من ٧ الى ٩ شباط/فبراير ٦٩٩١ (A/AC.105/630)، وأن تقريرا عن تنسيق أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي داخل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة قد قدم الى اللجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية (A/AC.105/631).

The Meeting discussed and made a number of suggestions regarding the draft annual report of the Secretary-General entitled " Coordination of outer space activities within the United Nations system, programmes of work for 1993, 1994 and future years " , which was to be submitted to the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
٢٧ - وناقش الاجتماع مشروع التقرير السنوي لﻷمين العام المعنون " تنسيق أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي داخل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة: برامج العمل لعامي ١٩٩٣ و ١٩٩٤ والسنوات المقبلة " المقرر تقديمه الى اللجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية المعنية باستخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية، وقدم بعض الاقتراحات بشأنه.

2. Pursuant to that recommendation, in a note verbale dated 8 August 2001, the Secretary-General requested Governments to submit reports by 31 October 2001 so that they could be submitted to the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee at its next session.
2- وعملا بتلك التوصية، طلب الأمين العام، في مذكرة شفوية مؤرخة 8 آب/أغسطس 2001، الى الحكومات أن تقدم تقاريرها حتى 31 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2001، لكي يتسنى إحالتها الى اللجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية في دورتها القادمة.
