12. At the international level, The Commonwealth has established an Experts Working Group on legislative and administrative measures to Combat Terrorism which has assessed the legislative and administrative measures required by UNSCR 1373 and the special recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to combat terrorist financing.

(a) With regard to the legislative and administrative measures to be taken to freeze funds and other financial assets or economic resources, attention should be drawn to Chile's response to subparagraph (c) of the paragraph containing question l of the questionnaire submitted to the aforementioned Counter-Terrorism Committee (page 9 seqq. of the report).

6. The Committee notes with satisfaction the existing legislative and administrative measures taken to combat acts of racism and xenophobia in the State party and welcomes the enactment in July 2003 of the Act on Equal Treatment Irrespective of Ethnic Origin.

380. The Committee notes with satisfaction the existing legislative and administrative measures taken to combat acts of racism and xenophobia in the State party and welcomes the enactment in July 2003 of the Act on Equal Treatment Irrespective of Ethnic Origin.

The number of States parties that have enacted legislation covering all key areas had increased from 51 in October 2003 to 82 by 30 October 2008, and 126 States parties had informed the secretariat of the legislative and administrative measures that they had adopted.
وقد ازداد عدد الدول الأطراف، التي سنّت تشريعا يغطي جميع المجالات الرئيسية، من 51 دولة في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2003 إلى 82 دولة في 30 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2005، وأبلغت 126 دولة طرفا الأمانة العامة بالتدابير التشريعية والإدارية التي اعتمدتها.

The Committee welcomes the many legislative and administrative measures taken by the State party to establish a framework for the promotion and protection of human rights, and in particular the elimination of discrimination in areas of relevance to the Convention, including the adoption of:

The draft declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples refers to free, prior and informed consent in article 10 on forced relocation; article 12 in relation to culture and intellectual property; article 20 vis-à-vis legislative and administrative measures taken by the States; article 27 with regard to indigenous peoples' lands, territories and resources, and article 30, which deals with development planning.
