Requests the Executive Director and the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment to continue the work of the United Nations Environment Programme in promoting greater understanding of the linkages between poverty and the environment and, with this understanding, to assist Governments upon their request to integrate environmental decision-making into social and economic policy towards poverty eradication.
