وطلبت اللجنة من المقرر الخاص أن يواصل التشاور مع الدول والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية في تنفيذ هذا القرار وأن يقدم إلى اللجنة في دورتها التاسعة والخمسين تقريرا يتضمن استنتاجات وتوصيات محددة بشأن استخدام المرتزقة للنيل من حق الشعوب في تقرير المصير.

The report of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the use of mercenaries was a valuable source of information on mercenary activities and their fatal consequences.

II. Resolution 2005/2 on the use of mercenaries as a means of violating human rights and impeding the exercise of the right of peoples to self-determination
ثانيا - القرار 2005/2 بشأن استخدام المرتزقة وسيلة لانتهاك حقوق الإنسان وإعاقة ممارسة حق الشعوب في تقرير المصير

6. Welcomes the cooperation extended by those countries that have received visits from the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the use of mercenaries as a means of violating human rights and impeding the exercise of the right of peoples to self-determination;

Requests the Special Rapporteur to consult States, intergovernmental and nongovernmental organizations in the implementation of the current resolution and to report, with specific recommendations, his findings on the use of mercenaries to undermine the right to self-determination to the Commission at its fifty-seventh session;
14- تطلب إلى المقرر الخاص أن يتشاور مع الدول والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية في تنفيذ هذا القرار، وأن يقدم إلى اللجنة في دورتها السابعة والخمسين تقريراً يتضمن استنتاجاته وتوصيات محددة بشأن استخدام المرتزقة في تقويض الحق في تقرير المصير؛

39. However, as in previous years, the members of the European Union had been unable to support the draft resolution on the use of mercenaries that had been submitted to the Committee.
