In its resolution 51/221 A of 18 December 1996, the Assembly approved the adjustment of $78,100 in the contribution payable by the United Nations to the Carnegie Foundation for further enlargement of the premises available to the Court.
ووافقت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها ٥١/٢٢١ ألف المؤرخ ١٨ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٦، على التعديل البالغ ١٠٠ ٧٨ دولار في المساهمة التي تدفعها اﻷمم المتحدة إلى مؤسسة كارنيغي من أجل زيادة توسيع اﻷماكن المتاحة للمحكمة.

Staff members who are authorized by the Secretary-General to participate in activities organized by a Government, intergovernmental organization, non-governmental organization or other private source, may receive from the Government, intergovernmental organization, non-governmental organization or private source, accommodation and travel and subsistence allowance generally in line with those payable by the United Nations.

(a) Payment of travel expenses by the United Nations shall comprise the cost of first-class accommodation and shall include expenses normally incidental to transportation, e.g., taxi-cab fares from station.
)أ( تشمل نفقات السفر التي تدفعها اﻷمم المتحدة كلفة السفر بالدرجة اﻷولى وكذلك المصاريف النثرية التي تتصل عادة بالنقل مثل تكاليف الانتقال من محطة الوصول أو إلى محطة المغادرة بسيارات اﻷجرة.

(a) The contribution payable by the United Nations for its share of the general operating expenses of the facilities provided in the Peace Palace at The Hague for the Court ($2,178,500).

The largest increase was approved for the biennium 1980-1981, when the Foundation requested a readjustment of the contribution payable by the United Nations owing in the main to the additional space occupied by the Court in the newly constructed building.
وقد اعتمدت أكبـر زيادة لفترة السنتين ١٩٨٠-١٩٨١، عندما طلبت المؤسسة إعادة تعديل المساهمة التي تدفعها اﻷمم المتحدة ﻷسباب تعزى في المقام اﻷول إلى الحيز اﻹضافي الذي تشغله المحكمة في المبنى الحديث التشييد.

ثالثا - ٥ وحسبمــا ورد فــي الفقـــرة ٥-٢٢ )أ( من الميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة، أدرج اعتماد بمبلغ ٢٠٠ ١٣ دولار لمواجهة زيادة المساهمة التي تدفعها اﻷمم المتحدة لتسديد حصتها في مصروفات التشغيل العامة المتعلقة بالمرافق التي تزود بها المحكمة في قصر السلم في لاهاي.

3. In paragraph 5.22 of section 5 of the proposed programme budget for the biennium 1996-1997, 1/ the Secretary-General included provisional requirements ($457,400, at revised 1994-1995 rates) for the contribution payable by the United Nations to the Carnegie Foundation for further enlargement of the premises available to the Court.

A Supplementary Agreement with amendments to the Agreement between the Carnegie Foundation and the United Nations for the use of the premises by the Court, with respect to article II, which sets out the annual contribution payable by the United Nations to the Carnegie Foundation, and article IV, which sets out the accommodation at the Peace Palace made available to the Court, will be placed before the General Assembly for its approval.

The Carnegie Foundation had assented to a one-time reduction, effective 1 January 1997, in the contribution payable by the United Nations for its share of the general operating expenses of premises provided to the Court in the Peace Palace at The Hague (see A/C.5/50/57/Add.1).

Members of the national element would also receive a stipend, based on local scales and paid by the United Nations for the duration of their service in this special unit.
وسيتلقى أفراد العنصر الوطني أيضا مرتبات وفق المرتبات المحلية تدفعها الأمم المتحدة طوال مدة خدمتهم في هذه الوحدة الخاصة.
