The Korean Government commissioned organizations related to persons with disabilities to carry out studies to identify existing laws and regulations that constitute discrimination against persons with disabilities and to recommend their modification or abolishment.
19- وكلَّفت الحكومة منظمات تُعنَى بالأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة بإجراء دراسات لتحديد القوانين والأنظمة القائمة التي تشكل تمييزاً ضد الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، والتوصية بتعديلها أو إلغائها.

(b) To take all appropriate measures, including legislation, to modify or abolish laws, regulations, customs and practices that constitute discrimination against persons with disabilities in the areas of work and employment. .

ويمثل اتخاذ الدول الأطراف " جميع التدابير الملائمة، بما فيها التشريع، لتعديل أو إلغاء ما يوجد من قوانين ولوائح وأعراف وممارسات تشكل تمييزاً ضد الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة " (المادة 4، الفقرة 1(ب)) التزاماً عاماً رئيسياً يقع على جميع الدول الأطراف.

Taking " all appropriate measures, including legislation, to modify or abolish existing laws, regulations, customs and practices that constitute discrimination against persons with disabilities " (art. 4, para. 1 (b)) constitutes the main general obligation for all States parties.

7. Urges States parties to review any existing exclusion or restriction of political rights for persons with disabilities, including those persons with psychosocial, mental or intellectual disabilities, and to take all appropriate measures, including legislation, to modify or abolish existing laws, regulations, customs and practices that constitute discrimination against persons with disabilities;
7- يحثّ الدول الأطراف على استعراض أي اتجاه حالي نحو استبعاد أو تقييد الحقوق السياسية للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، بمن فيهم الأشخاص الذين يعانون من إعاقات نفسية واجتماعية أو عقلية أو ذهنية، واتخاذ جميع التدابير المناسبة، بما في ذلك سنّ التشريعات، من أجل تعديل أو إلغاء القوانين والأنظمة والأعراف والممارسات القائمة التي تشكل تمييزاً ضد الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة؛

7. Urges States parties to review any existing exclusion or restriction of political rights for persons with disabilities, including those persons with psychosocial, mental or intellectual disabilities, and to take all appropriate measures, including legislation, to modify or abolish existing laws, regulations, customs and practices that constitute discrimination against persons with disabilities;
7- يحثّ الدول الأطراف على استعراض أي اتجاه حالي نحو استبعاد أو تقييد الحقوق السياسية للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، بمن فيهم الأشخاص الذين يعانون من إعاقات نفسية اجتماعية أو عقلية أو ذهنية، واتخاذ جميع التدابير المناسبة، بما في ذلك سنّ التشريعات، من أجل تعديل أو إلغاء القوانين والأنظمة والأعراف والممارسات القائمة التي تشكل تمييزاً ضد الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة؛

Accordingly, article 4, paragraph 1 (b), of the Convention obliges States parties to " take all appropriate measures, including legislation, to modify or abolish existing laws, regulations, customs and practices that constitute discrimination against persons with disabilities " .
وعلى نحو ذلك، تلزم الفقرة 1(ب) من المادة 4 من الاتفاقية الدول الأطراف ﺑ " اتخاذ جميع التدابير الملائمة، بما فيها التشريع، لتعديل أو إلغاء ما يوجد من قوانين ولوائح وأعراف وممارسات تشكل تمييزاً ضد الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة " .
