88. In view of the increasing importance of the various applications of nuclear technology, IAEA technical cooperation programmes should be strengthened and the rights of States parties to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes must be upheld in conformity with article IV of the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
88 - وفي ضوء زيادة أهمية مختلف تطبيقات التكنولوجيا النووية، ينبغي تدعيم برامج التعاون التقني التي وضعتها الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية وتدعيم حقوق الدول الأطراف في استخدام الطاقة النووية للأغراض السلمية. ويجب تأييد هذا تماشياً مع المادة الرابعة من معاهدة عدم الانتشار.

And the third would read: " Nothing in this article is intended to affect the rights of States parties to amend the convention at any time as between themselves. "
أما البيان الثالث فنصه كما يلي: " ليس في هذه الفقرة ما يقصد منه التأثير على حقوق الدول الأطراف في تعديل الاتفاقية في أي وقت فيما بينها " .
