He spoke about the dense network of regional organizations within Europe and the work of two new organizations, in particular, the European Commission on Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) and the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia, and asked that references to their web sites be incorporated into the United Nations Guide for Minorities.

National institutions 49. Mr. Orest Nowosad and Ms. Yunseon Heo of the National Human Rights Institutions (NHRI) team of OHCHR presented the contents of a draft pamphlet intended for future inclusion in the United Nations Guide for Minorities.

1. The Working Group on Minorities at its ninth and tenth sessions invited the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to prepare pamphlets for inclusion in the United Nations Guide for Minorities.
1- دعا الفريق العامل المعني بالأقليات في دورتيه التاسعة والعاشرة المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان إلى إعداد كتيبات معلومات لإدراجها في دليل الأمم المتحدة للأقليات.

2. The text of the pamphlet on minorities and the work of national human rights institutions is attached, for inclusion in future versions of the United Nations Guide for Minorities. GE.05-13389 (E) 260405
2- ويوجد مرفقاً بهذه المذكرة نص كتيب المعلومات المتعلق بالأقليات وعمل المؤسسات الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان بقصد إدراجه في نسخ دليل الأمم المتحدة للأقليات التي ستصدر في المستقبل.

25. Calls upon the High Commissioner to continue to promote, within her mandate, the implementation of the Declaration, and to engage in a dialogue with Governments for that purpose and regularly update and disseminate widely the United Nations Guide for Minorities;
25 - تهيب بالمفوضة السامية أن تواصل، في نطاق ولايتها، تعزيز تنفيذ الإعلان، وأن تجري حوارا مع الحكومات تحقيقا لهذا الغرض، وأن تقوم بتحديث دليل الأمم المتحدة للأقليات بانتظام وأن تنشره على نطاق واسع؛

A presentation was made by Mr. Orest Nowosad and Ms. Yunseon Heo of the National Human Rights Institution Team of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, including on the preparation of a pamphlet on national institutions for inclusion in the United Nations Guide for Minorities.

The High Commissioner for Human Rights opened the seminar and took the opportunity to launch the new United Nations Guide for Minorities* and to introduce the ChairpersonRapporteur of the meeting, Mr. Asbjørn Eide, Chairperson of the United Nations Working Group on Minorities.
3- افتتحت الحلقة الدراسية مفوضة الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان وانتهزت تلك الفرصة للإعلان عن " دليل الأمم المتحدة للأقليات " الجديد* ولكي تعرّف الحاضرين برئيس - مقرر الاجتماع، السيد أسبيورن إيدي، رئيس فريق الأمم المتحدة العامل المعني بالأقليات.

Responding to these interventions, the Chairperson suggested, inter alia, that the United Nations Guide for Minorities be consulted as it offered guidance on how best to target complaints and information for action to various human rights mechanisms, including the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Much of this information will also be provided in a pamphlet about the independent expert's mandate, which will be published in collaboration with OHCHR, translated into the six official languages, and reproduced for use within the United Nations Guide for Minorities.

In that paper it was suggested that a series of thematic pamphlets on various minority issues and good practices should be prepared for inclusion in the UN Guide for Minorities.
واقتُرِح في تلك الورقة أن يجري إعداد سلسلة من الكراسات المواضيعية بشأن مختلف قضايا الأقليات والممارسات الجيدة بغرض إدراجها في دليل الأمم المتحدة للأقليات.

The Working Group requested me on that basis to finalize the Declaration and to ensure its publication in the planned United Nations manual on minorities.
وطَلب إلي الفريق العامل على ذلك الأساس وضع الإعلان في صيغته النهائية والسهر على نشره في دليل الأمم المتحدة للأقليات المخطط له.
