We in the Sultanate of Oman are satisfied that we have come a long way in terms of protecting human rights at all levels.

The Union includes all the trade unions in the Sultanate of Oman as members.

تتحفَّظ سلطنة عُمان على الأحكام والنصوص التالية:

All provisions of the Convention not in accordance with the provisions of the Islamic sharia and legislation in force in the Sultanate of Oman;
جميع أحكام الاتفاقية التي لا تتفق مع أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية والتشريعات المعمول بها في سلطنة عُمان؛

This position however does not preclude the entry into force in its entirety of the Convention between the Sultanate of Oman and Austria.
ولا يحول هذا الموقف مع ذلك دون بدء نفاذ الاتفاقية في مجملها بين سلطنة عُمان والنمسا.

In consequence, Belgium objects to the reservation formulated by the Sultanate of Oman with respect to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.
ولهذه الأسباب، تعترض بلجيكا على التحفُّظ الذي أبدته سلطنة عُمان على اتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة.

For these reasons, the Government of the Hellenic Republic objects to the above-mentioned reservations formulated by the Sultanate of Oman.
لهذه الأسباب تعترض حكومة الجمهورية الهيلينية على التحفُّظات المذكورة أعلاه، التي أبدتها سلطنة عُمان.

The first reservation concerns all provisions of the Convention not in accordance with the provisions of the Islamic sharia and legislation in force in the Sultanate of Oman.
يتعلق التحفُّظ الأول بجميع أحكام الاتفاقية التي لا تتفق مع أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية والتشريعات السارية في سلطنة عُمان.

The Government of the Portuguese Republic, therefore, objects to the above-mentioned reservations made by the Sultanate of Oman to the Convention.
لذلك تعترض حكومة الجمهورية البرتغالية على التحفُّظات المذكورة أعلاه، التي أبدتها حكومة سلطنة عُمان على الاتفاقية.

The Convention enters into force in its entirety between Slovakia and the Sultanate of Oman, without the Sultanate of Oman benefiting from its reservation.
وسيبدأ نفاذ الاتفاقية في مجملها بين سلوفاكيا وسلطنة عُمان دون أن تستفيد سلطنة عُمان من تحفُّظها.
