(e) Ensure that street children are provided with recovery and reintegration services, including psychosocial assistance for physical, sexual and substance abuse, and where possible and when in the best interests of the child, services for reconciliation with a view to reintegrating them into their families.

CRC recommended that the State: Ensure that street children are provided with nutrition, clothing, housing, health-care and educational opportunities; combat trafficking in children; increase efforts to prevent the use of illicit drugs, provide for mental and reproductive health counselling; launch campaigns to raise awareness on HIV/AIDS.
