91. The Special Committee requests the Secretary-General to include in the agreements to be concluded with States providing contingents a clause by which those States would ensure that the members of their contingents serving with the United Nations peace-keeping operations personnel are fully acquainted with the principles and rules of relevant international law, in particular international humanitarian law.
٩١ - وتطلب اللجنة الخاصة إلى اﻷمين العام أن يدرج في الاتفاقات التي تبرم مع الدول التي تقدم وحدات، بندا تكفل بموجبه هذه الدول أن يكون أفراد وحداتها العاملون مع أفراد عمليات حفظ السلم التابعة لﻷمم المتحدة، على دراية كاملة بمبادئ وقواعد القانون الدولي ذات الصلة ولا سيما القانون الدولي اﻹنساني.

75. Mr. RATUNAVECA (Fiji) said that, in accordance with its responsibilities under the Charter and out of the conviction that the Organization must actively foster international peace and security, his country had contributed civilian and military personnel to seven United Nations peace-keeping operations.
٧٥ - السيد راتونافيكا )فيجي(: قال إن بلاده عمدت، وفقا لمسؤولياتها بموجب الميثاق واقتناعا منها بضرورة أن تعمل المنظمة جاهدة لتعزيز السلم واﻷمن الدوليين، الى المساهمة بأفراد مدنيين وعسكريين في سبع من عمليات حفظ السلم التابعة لﻷمم المتحدة.

70. The Special Committee reaffirms the competence of the General Assembly for the appropriation and apportionment of the costs of United Nations peace-keeping operations and notes the importance for the Security Council to consider, inter alia, the availability of adequate physical and material resources, and the cost implications, before it establishes new peace-keeping operations.
٧٠ - وتؤكد اللجنة الخاصة من جديد على اختصاص الجمعية العامة في اعتماد وقسمة نفقات عمليات حفظ السلم التابعة لﻷمم المتحدة، وتلاحظ أهمية أن ينظر مجلس اﻷمن، في جملة أمور، في مسألة توافر الموارد المادية والمالية الكافية وكذلك اﻵثار المترتبة من حيث التكاليف قبل أن يبادر إلى إنشاء عمليات جديدة في مجال حفظ السلم.

113. The Special Committee urges all Member States in whose territory United Nations peace-keeping operations are conducted to provide, in accordance with relevant articles of the Charter and other instruments, comprehensive support to all United Nations peace-keeping operations personnel in fulfilling their functions, as well as to take all necessary measures to ensure respect for and guarantee the safety and security of those personnel.
١١٣ - تحث اللجنة الخاصة جميع الدول اﻷعضاء التي يُضطلع في أراضيها بعمليات لحفظ السلم تابعة لﻷمم المتحدة، على أن تقدم، وفقا للمواد ذات الصلة من الميثاق والصكوك اﻷخرى، الدعم الشامل لجميع أفراد عمليات حفظ السلم التابعة لﻷمم المتحدة لدى قيامهم بمهامهم، وأن تتخذ كذلك جميع التدابير الضرورية لكفالة الاحترام لهؤلاء اﻷفراد وضمان سلامتهم وأمنهم.
