The United Nations should continue to encourage States to establish and exercise criminal jurisdiction over their nationals participating in United Nations operations who committed serious crimes in a host State, and to cooperate among themselves and with the Organization in the investigation of such crimes.

(a) To consider promptly becoming parties to the Convention on the Safety of United Nations and Associated Personnel, in particular those receiving United Nations operations on their territories;

32. The Secretariat also fully supports a convention requiring Member States to establish jurisdiction on an " extradite or prosecute " basis for crimes committed by persons participating in United Nations operations.
32 - كما تؤيد الأمانة تأييدا تاما وضع اتفاقية تلزم الدول الأطراف بفرض الولاية القضائية على أساس " التسليم أو المقاضاة " في حال الجرائم التي يرتكبها أشخاص يشاركون في عمليات للأمم المتحدة().

(b) Reviewing and endorsing Security Risks Assessments, Security Plans, Minimum Operating Security Standards and Minimum Operating Residential Security Standards, and ongoing review of security levels wherever United Nations operations occur;
