ومع ذلك، فإننا نشارك بإيمان وتفاؤل في هذه الهيئة العالمية السامية والفريدة التي تُجسد التطلعات الجماعية لجميع بني البشر، مدركين فترة حسن النية هذه، أنه بينما قد لا نكون قطعنـــا شوطـا بعيدا في كفكفة الدموع التي تنهمر مــن كل عين، فإننا نثق بالمصير المشترك لﻷمم المتحدة هنا ونكرس أنفسنا لبلوغه.
