The highest authority of the Organization shall be the International Jute Council, which shall consist of all the members of the Organization.
المجلس الدولي للجوت هو أعلى سلطة في المنظمة. ويتألف من جميع أعضاء المنظمة.

However, over the past few decades, Jute production had been suffering from the competition with its synthetic substitutes and had also been adversely affected by price instability.
ومع ذلك، فقد عانى إنتاج الجوت، عبر العقود القليلة الماضية، من حدة المنافسة مع البدائل الصناعية للجوت كما تأثر تأثرا سلبيا بعدم استقرار الأسعار.

(ii) In the case of non-jute producing and net Jute importing countries, the average volume of their net imports of Jute and Jute products over the most recent three year period for which relevant statistics are available.
`2` في حالة البلدان غير المنتجة للجوت والمستوردة الصافية لـه، متوسط حجم وارداتها الصافية من الجوت ومنتجات الجوت خلال أحدث فترة ثلاث سنوات تتوفر بشأنها إحصاءات مناسبة.

Aware that the International Agreement on Jute and Jute Products, 1989, will expire on 11 April 2000,
وإذ يدرك أن الاتفاق الدولي للجوت ومنتجات الجوت لعام 1989 سينتهي أجله في 11 نيسان/أبريل 2000،

Noting also that the International Jute Council is scheduled to meet from 8 to 10 April 2000 in Dhaka, Bangladesh,
وإذ يلاحظ أيضاً أن من المقرر أن ينعقد المجلس الدولي للجوت في الفترة من 8 إلى 10 نيسان/أبريل 2000 بدكّا، في بنغلاديش،

Stresses the importance of adopting a successor instrument to the International Agreement on Jute and Jute Products, 1989, before 12 April 2000;
1- يشدد على أهمية اعتماد صك يخلف الاتفاق الدولي للجوت ومنتجات الجوت لعام 1989، قبل 12 نيسان/أبريل 2000؛

Considering the significant contribution made by the International Agreements on Jute and Jute Products of 1982 and 1989 towards such cooperation between exporting and importing countries,
وإذ تضع في اعتبارها ما قدمه الاتفاقان الدوليان للجوت ومنتجات الجوت لعام 1982 ولعام 1989 من مساهمة ذات شأن في هذا التعاون بين البلدان المصدرة والمستوردة،

To develop new end-uses for Jute, including new Jute products, with a view to enlarging the demand for Jute;
(ط) استحداث استخدامات نهائية جديدة للجوت بما في ذلك استحداث منتجات جوت جديدة بغية توسيع الطلب عليه؛
