The Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights and its relevant working group should also monitor compliance with the Norms and developing best practices by receiving information from nongovernmental organizations, unions, individuals and others, and then by allowing transnational corporations or other business enterprises an opportunity to respond.

Structural adjustment programmes, imposed on debtor developing countries by the international financial institutions and requiring the liberalization and deregulation of their economies have created the conditions for easy entry into these countries of transnational corporations and other enterprises engaged in such activities.
وقد أدت برامج التكيف الهيكلي، التي فرضتها المؤسسات المالية الدولية على البلدان النامية المدينة واشترطت عليها تحرير اقتصاداتها وإلغاء الضوابط عليها، إلى تهيئة الظروف المؤاتية للشركات عبر الوطنية وغيرها من المشاريع ﻷن تدخل بسهولة الى هذه البلدان)٤٣(.

(c) transnational corporations and other business enterprises may employ persons aged 13 to 15 years in light work if national laws or regulations permit.
(ج) يجوز للشركات عبر الوطنية وغيرها من مؤسسات الأعمال أن تستخدم أشخاصاً تتراوح أعمارهم بين 13 و15 عاماً في الأعمال الخفيفة إذا سمحت بذلك القوانين أو الأنظمة الوطنية.

(a) To identify and clarify standards of corporate responsibility and accountability for transnational corporations and other business enterprises with regard to human rights;
