57. One of the major accomplishments of the United Nations in the field of human rights has been the elaboration of a wide range of conventions, declarations and other instruments setting internationally agreed principles, norms and standards for the protection of human rights.
٧٥- يتمثل أحد المنجزات الرئيسية لﻷمم المتحدة في ميدان حقوق اﻹنسان في وضع مجموعة واسعة من الاتفاقيات واﻹعلانات وغيرها من الصكوك التي وضعت مبادئ وقواعد ومعايير متفق عليها دولياً لحماية حقوق اﻹنسان.

" 10. The General Assembly constitutes the main deliberative organ of the United Nations in the field of disarmament and should continue to promote disarmament and to facilitate the achievement of disarmament agreements among States, by the following means:
" ٠١ - تشكل الجمعية العامة جهاز التداول الرئيسي لﻷمم المتحدة في ميدان نزع السلاح، وينبغي لها أن تواصل تعزيز نزع السلاح وتسهيل التوصل إلى اتفاقات لنزع السلاح فيما بين الدول، بالوسائل التالية:
