The Committee calls upon the State party to expeditiously draft and adopt the gender equality bill and to include a definition of discrimination against women that encompasses both direct and indirect discrimination in line with article 1 of the Convention as well as the principle of equality between women and men and the provision of sanctions for discriminatory acts in line with article 2 of the Convention.
