Mr. Marrakchi (Morocco): Morocco, which remains attached to the principal objective of eliminating all kinds of weapons of mass destruction, naturally allies itself with the endeavour of the international community to achieve that objective through the relevant international instruments: the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BWC).
السيد مراكشي (المغرب) (تكلم بالانكليزية): إن المغرب، الذي ما فتئ يلتزم بمبدأ إزالة كل أنواع أسلحة الدمار الشامل، بطبيعة الحال، يؤيد مسعى المجتمع الدولي لتحقيق ذلك الهدف عن طريق الصكين الدوليين ذوي الصلة: اتفاقية الأسلحة الكيميائية، واتفاقية الأسلحة البيولوجية والتكسينية.

Mr. Marrakchi (Morocco) (spoke in French): At this, the conclusion of the First Committee's work, my delegation would like to solemnly congratulate you, Mr. Chairman, on the rigour, professionalism, wisdom and -- when it was needed -- aplomb with which you led the work of the First Committee during this session.
