The United Nations is frequently being asked to assist in this process, both directly, through facilitating economic adjustments within States, and indirectly, through analysis of macro- and microeconomic issues related to conversion, as well as through stimulating faster progress on global development issues.
٦٤ - وكثيرا ما يطلب من اﻷمم المتحدة إسداء المساعدة في هذه العملية سواء كان ذلك بصورة مباشرة، بتسهيل التكيفات الاقتصادية داخل الدول، أو بصورة غير مباشرة، بتحليل قضايا الاقتصاد الكلي والاقتصاد الجزئي المتصلة بالتحويل، وكذلك بالحفز على تحقيق تقدم أسرع بشأن مسائل التنمية العالمية.

15. Recognizes further that making globalization a positive force for all can be accomplished through the involvement, cooperation and partnership of Governments and other stakeholders and that promoting international cooperation for development and promoting policy coherence on global development issues are indispensable to that end;
