978- واعتمدت اللجنة مبادئ توجيهية منقحة لتقديم التقارير بشأن البروتوكول الاختياري للاتفاقية المتعلق ببيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال واستغلال الأطفال في المواد الإباحية، وهي مبادئ وضعتها بدعم من مركز إينوشينتي للأبحاث التابع لليونيسيف.

62. During its two sessions to be held in 2007, the Committee will work towards the adoption of revised reporting guidelines taking into account the information to be provided by States in the common core document.

2. The Human Rights Committee had adopted revised reporting guidelines and a new optional reporting procedure whereby it would send States parties a list of issues and consider their written replies instead of requiring a periodic report.

For this purpose, in 2008, the Committee has adopted revised reporting guidelines on treaty-specific documents to be submitted by States parties under articles 16 and 17 of the Covenant, with a view to assisting States in the reporting process and improving the effectiveness of the monitoring system as a whole.
وتحقيقاً لهذا الغرض، اعتمدت اللجنة في عام 2008 مبادئ توجيهية منقحة لتقديم التقارير تتعلق بوثائق خاصة بمعاهدة محددة والمقرر أن تقدمها الدول الأطراف بموجب المادتين 16 و17 من العهد()، من أجل مساعدة الدول في عملية إعداد التقارير وتحسين فعالية نظام الرصد ككل.
