22- وفي الجلسة العامة المعقودة في 19 حزيران/يونيه 2006، خصص فريق الخبراء الحكوميين بعض الوقت للنظر في حالة البروتوكول الخامس للاتفاقية المتعلق بالمتفجرات من مخلّفات الحرب.

Its combination of commitments to non-use, stockpile destruction, clearance and victim assistance, and its model of cooperation between States, international organizations and civil society should serve as inspiration for efforts to ensure that the Protocol on Explosive remnants of War also has the desired effects on the ground.
وينبغي أن يشكِّل مزجها بين الالتزامات بعدم استخدام الألغام الأرضية وتدمير مخزوناتها وإزالتها ومساعدة ضحاياها، ونموذجها للتعاون بين الدول والمنظمات الدولية والمجتمع المدني، مصدر إلهام للجهود الرامية إلى كفالة أن يتمخض البروتوكول بشأن المتفجرات من مخلّفات الحرب عن الآثار المنشودة.
